According to various online sources, Rachel has joined the cast of The Loop. She will play Fiona, a librarian who joins a highway patrolman to uncover the mysteries behind the cryptic sayings spoken by an ancient parrot.

Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Star Trek on 17th November 2009. From director J.J. Abrams, this modern reinvention of Star Trek features a young cast including Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Simon Pegg alongside seasoned actors such as Eric Bana, Bruce Greenwood, Winona Ryder and the original Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy.

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced it will release Stephen Sommers’ G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra on Blu-ray and DVD on November 3. The full press release:

Before G.I. Joe was even released, many of us around the web were already talking about a sequel. While G.I. Joe 2 may have seemed an obvious decision, these days sequels are hardly a sure thing (see Superman Returns). But Paramount is happy enough with G.I. Joe that they’re ready to move forward on PART 2. Rob Moore, the studio’s vice chairman, told the LA Times that the G.I. Joe sequel will “soon go into development” and that all the lead actors are “contractually obligated to return.” He did add that director Stephen Sommers has the option to decline a sequel though.
